Privacy

The refreshingly short version: we don't want your data. We want to know what time it is.

No cookies, no ads, no analytics

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads, and loads nothing from third-party servers — fonts and code are all served from 420clock.org itself. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

What stays in your browser

If you arm a 4:20 alert bell or press the blaze button, your browser remembers those choices locally (in localStorage) so they survive a reload. That data never leaves your device, and you can wipe it anytime by clearing site data in your browser.

The hit counter is anonymous

Pressing the blaze button sends exactly one thing to our server: a timezone name (like Europe/Amsterdam) so the daily leaderboard can count it. No account, no name, no identifier travels with it, and the tally resets every midnight UTC.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which — like any host — technically processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver pages and defend against abuse. We don't log, store, or ever see those addresses ourselves.

Questions?

This is a just-for-fun project. If anything here worries you, close the tab and we'll never know you existed — that's rather the point.
